365 new days, 365 new chances

In a year, a lot can happen. All I can say is, what a year... A new year is the best time for new beginnings, and a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Looking back, I can say that we've been through a lot; we're like riding a rollercoaster with lots of ups and downs, which can explain a person's life. And I hope that in the near future, everything will get better and look forward for new beginnings.

I’ve come to think that my year has been full of realization and growth. My favorite part of the new year is that I'll have time to reflect on everything that has happened to me and how far I've come. A year full of happiness and sorrow, a year full of memories with my friends and family, and for that I am grateful. Because these experiences helped me to grow as a person and shaped who I am today. Given the number of difficulties I have overcome and the fact that I have never given up, I can say that I am extremely proud of myself. It’s been almost 3 years since the pandemic started, and the thought of that hasn’t kicked in fully. And, once again, the pandemic has worsened recently, and there is a new variant that has made the protocol more stringent. I just hope that everything improves quickly and returns to normal life.

There are far better things ahead of us than the ones we leave behind. We must learn to move on with our lives, to always find happiness, and to create more memories with our loved ones. Enjoy today because you never know what will happen tomorrow; spending your life happy is better to being miserable all the time. The end of the year is neither an end nor a beginning, but rather a continuation, with all the wisdom that experience can instill in us. Whatever challenges I face in the future, I hope they will help me grow as a person and become a better person. So, let us welcome the year full of the things that have never been. And it is never too late to be what you might’ve been. “I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You’re doing things you’ve never done before, and more importantly, you’re doing something.” —Neil Gaiman
